Angelina Jolie thinks that all women should be curvy and her comment, of course, made thousands of women feel much better.

'I'm all for curves on a woman, and feeling sexy and I never felt healthier or stronger than during

the filming of this movie,' she said, speaking about her upcoming movie, Salt.

Angelina is well known for some of her more athletic roles in movies such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,

Changeling, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith in which being slim and in shape was important.  Lucky for her,

the actress says that her slim figure is partly derived from genes.  However, she does enjoy working

out whenever she is on set and in addition to exercising to get in shape for a role she has even had

to partake of a healthy diet.

During Jolie's training for her role in Tomb Raider, Angelina Jolie focused on the following:

 -   Steamed Sea Bass

 -    Steamed Beef

 -    Steamed Vegetables

 -    No Sugar

 -    Soy Milk

 For training she did:

 -    Kickboxing

 -    Canoeing

 -    Street Fighting

 -    Yoga

Jolie also had to give up cigarettes and coffee.  It was an interesting change for her because she

used to have a cigarette and coffee instead of breakfast.  She broke that unhealthy habit for the

 movie.

Jolie eats a low-fat diet with steamed seafood and vegetables, and she eats wholefoods and stays away

 from sugar.

'The diet focuses on low fat, organic, whole foods. Angelina Jolie's diet does not include too many

fatty foods as her belief is that a diet heavy in fat will program the children to crave unhealthy

foods.  Since a no fat diet is also not healthy, Angelina factors in nuts and other healthy sources

 of fat and protein.'

After giving birth, Jolie started drinking African ginger root and garlic tea after being introduced

 to the drink in Namibia.

Nutrition expert Dr. Detlef Pape informs, that ginger contains capsaicin, which increases the body

temperature.  Consequently more calories are burnt. The garlic has no direct diet influence, but

 helps to break down cholesterol.
